Doctor's office sending out ultrasound reports to my parents a violation of doc-patient confidentiality? - fax confidentiality statement
I am 18 years, and when I become 18 years old, I signed papers saying that my medical information be able to get my parents to be published without my permission, because my parents are very curious. My father is a doctor (chiropractor - it's use is unrelated to my health problems) when receiving my reports to your advantage.
I have several similar analysis of ultrasound and since I was eighteen when my parents call the doctor's office without asking me and ask questions about my report faxed over to get - and the office always true! Is not this a violation? I get very frustrated, and I think my privacy is violated, because sometimes even told me.
I have my cell phone number as my primary number in the doctor's office in the morning and called my cell phone number I did not even call my own mother's first mobile phone! And when they said they needed to tell me to my next appointment, said he could not say that because of confidentiality.
WithoutEC if it an intimate encounter with a report of the ultrasound? Why do you call just to say he could not know? It is so hypocritical, and I feel so frustrated. Help: (
